Hey everyone. Let’s hang out online together tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:00 pm. All you have to do to join is click https://zoom.us/j/2650191214. You may need to enter a Meeting ID. If so, then it is 265 019 1214.

This will work on any device (e.g., smartphone or tablet), but it seems to be a little easier if you are on a laptop or desktop computer. Make sure you have a working microphone and speakers. Hope this works!

Fraudulent Email Alert!

If you have received a weird email from me asking for gift cards, or anything else, please delete it. It is from a scammer. They seem to be pulling email addresses off of our parish bulletin from the website, as well as staff email addresses on the website. The emails are being sent from an email account that I don’t even own. Plus, they misspell my name as Rev. Adams. Basically, the rule of thumb is that if you ever get an email from me asking for anything out of the blue, delete it.

Fr. Adam's Musings | Episode 2

How to be forgiven of your sins when you can't go to confession?

HERE’S a previous homily I gave on John 20:19 where Jesus institutes the sacrament of confession.

Act of Contrition

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.

Confessions Cancelled in the Diocese of Hamilton

Chancellor Monsignor Murray J. Kroetsch provides further directives regarding COVID-19 in an open letter. Click HERE to read the letter.

In short, confessions are canceled unless by appointment. And churches and adoration chapels are to remain closed. This means that I will not be able to offer confessions per the schedule I posted on my website just earlier today.

Confession Times This Week at Regina Mundi

For this week (March 17-22), the confession times at Regina Mundi are as follows:

Tuesday     6:15 – 7:00 pm
Thursday     8:30 – 9:00 am
Friday         8:30 – 9:00 am
Saturday     3:30 – 4:30 pm
Sunday        9:00 – 10:00 am

This schedule may change next week, so stay tuned here or at Regina Mundi for updates. You may also just come into the church to pray during these times.

Also, HERE is a great article on how the Church has actually grown through times of plagues and pandemics.
